Introduction

Game Bub is an open-source FPGA retro emulation handheld, with support for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance games.

How to get one¶

The easiest way to get a Game Bub is to buy it from Crowd Supply. This is a prebuilt device that works right out of the box, with a high-quality injection molded enclosure and buttons, and a laminated IPS screen.

If you're adventurous, you can also build your own device from scratch. You'll have to manufacture and assembly PCBs, 3D print the shell and buttons, and assemble components from a variety of sources. Note that this not a project for beginners, and some electronics experience is strongly recommended. You can get the project files from the GitHub repository.

Support¶

Please note that support is only available for devices purchased from the official Crowd Supply store. If you purchased your Game Bub from somewhere else, you should contact the seller for support. If you built your own device, we'll try to help you out, but no guarantees.
